1.5g Gabapentin, 5mg THC (edible), approx. 8g alcohol

This is a brief report I wrote to describe possibly the strangest experience I've ever had with any substance. The combination described in this report is incredibly risky, a terrible idea, and should not be repeated. With that being said, I reeeeeally want to try repeating it someday. Do as I say, not as I do.
I was recently prescribed gabapentin as a sleep aid due to my ever-increasing insomnia, which it was very useful for. As an addition, I get to do it for fun occasionally, which I enjoy pretty thoroughly. Gabapentin is a pretty weird drug to do recreationally -- if you look at forums like Reddit or Bluelight, a lot of the posts regarding it fall into two categories: a) "I took a bunch of gabapentin and it did nothing," or b) "I took a bunch of gabapentin and it made me uncomfortable." There is a very specific method of dosing that allows it to function recreationally, and most people don't know it. Even when they do, it seems there's a divide between those who find it very pleasurable, and those who find it uncomfortable. Luckily, I'm one of those who find it euphoric and interesting, which is very exciting.
To begin the report, here's essentially a tutorial on how to correctly do gabapentin recreationally. Take a maximum of 300mg (in my case, one pill) every 30-45 minutes roughly 4 hours before you want to achieve peak effects. This is to bypass gabapentin's inversely-proportional bioavailability, in which the transporter responsible for getting it into the blood becomes overwhelmed, resulting in decreased bioavailability with increased dose. Gabapentin is lipophilic, so along with the dose, have a nice hearty meal (ideally with plenty of unsaturated fats). I'm not entirely sure if this next part is supported by science, but it makes sense to me. Gabapentin is an acid, so having an acidic stomach will preserve the dose and allow more to be absorbed. In this case, wash down the dose with something acidic, such as a soda. This is the method I use, and how this report begins.
Dosed 300mg every 30 minutes starting at 6:15pm while hanging out with friends. I will consider the final 8:15pm dose to be T+0:00. This report is mostly notes taken at the time of the experience, with a few additional details added from memory.
T+0:00 - Definitley feel something coming on from the previous doses. The consistent hum of my anxiety is quieted completely. I come up over the next 3.5hrs with no discomfort. I can't describe exactly how it feels other than feeling slightly off-kilter, disinhibited, and calm.
T+1:15 - I'm offered a 10mg THC edible, which I split into 5mg, considering I'm already somewhat inebriated and haven't mixed THC with gabapentin before.
T+2:00 - Suddenly feel both the gabapentin and THC peak together, wrapping my body in a warm blanket of euphoria. I feel my body intensely; this isn't the out-of-body dissociative high I often prefer. I'm fully aware of my body, but each part of it feels like I just laid down after a long day.
T+2:30 - I'm enjoying the high, which at this point is definitely at a solid plateau. My friends bring out some White Claws... I know I shouldn't, but I'm too curious and too eager to take this further. I drink half of a White Claw, about 7-8g of ethanol total.
T+3:00 - The ethanol has enhanced the feelings and has added an addition disorientation and uncoordination to the experience. This is highly euphoric, so much so that I don't move for prolonged periods. I'm standing up in my friend's garage watching two of them play table tennis. I can't quite control my limbs when I reach for something or try to adjust myself. I feel like I'm watching the world through a series of fuzzy oil pastel drawings. Images smear and leave trails, everything feels more saturated than usual. It feels like my body is glowing and warm, like I'm a star. It feels like I'm goo and everything around me is water. Feels profoundly "upside-down." I am heavy, being pulled around by a gentle magnetic force. My appetite is greatly enhanced. Listening to Orange by Fishmans, which seems to perfectly accompany these sensations. I try playing some table tennis. I'm surprisingly good all things considered.
T+4:00 - By this time, I've walked back home. I walk to use the restroom, and have difficulty urinating. The heaviness makes it difficult to walk. I feel like a lumbering god of stone, a giant statue towering over all else. Laying in bed now. Try to feel the past: sitting with Amelia in a cafe, eating a french dip. Watching Bosnia beat Italy at football, getting distracted while discussing particle physics and sociology. I can see and feel and hear and smell it all vividly. Complete happiness and chill. The cool of the present envelops me. Pretty introspective, but that's how I always am. I turn on the fourth album of the night, Neo Yankees Holiday by Fishmans. I suppose I'd liken it all to a full-body sustained orgasm. I can feel the bass pulse through me. I crave human intimacy; I badly want to cuddle and feel the weight and warmth of someone holding me. Dysphoria enters my mind, but I can ignore it easily. I always want some activity to do: table tennis, typing this log, deep conversation, fidgeting. I lay in bed thinking to myself and listening to music. At some point, I drift to sleep.
T+12:00 - Not entirely back to baseline, but when I wake up, I am very functional. It leaves a sort of afterglow. I feel positive, slightly out of it, slightly uncoordinated. Definitely something I'd do again.
